High Speed Steel with very high cutting performance.
HSS-R (Rolled)
Rolled High Speed Steel for ordinary metal drilling like steel (up to 900 N/mm2 tensile strength), cast iron, etc.
Cheaper and more elastic than HSS-G.
HSS-G (Ground)
Grinded High Speed Steel for ordinary metal drilling like steel (up to 900 N/mm2 tensile strength), cast iron, etc.
Harder and more precise than HSS-R.
HSS-E (Co)
Cobalt alloyed High Speed Steel for extra strength. For steel and cast steel alloyed and unalloyed (up to 1,200 N/mm2 tensile strength), titanium, acid-proof steels, stainless steel like V2A and V4A and heat resistant steel.
TiN (TitanNidrid)
Titannidridbeläggning for less friction and prolonged life. For steel and cast steel alloyed and unalloyed (up to 900 N/mm2 tensile strength), cast iron, annealed cast iron, ductile graphite iron, diecast, brass and bronze. Not suitable for aluminium.
TiAlN (Titanium Aluminium Nitride)
Titanium aluminum nitride coating for even tougher and prolonged life compared to TiN-coating.
TCT (Tungsten Carbide Tipped)
Tungsten Carbide Tipped for prolonged life and heavy-duty use and for application in very hard materials like tiles and ceramic till Mohs-hardness 8 (with max. 400–600 RPM). Allround drills for application in nearly any materials e. g. tiles, ceramic, concrete, wood, steel and plastics.
